Have a bung welded in. Find 12v power. Tune your SAFC to keep your AFR in safe conditions - not too lean or rich

If you have 3.76 gears, did you recalibrate the speedo/ VSS? Just wondering how you measure fuel MPG in this particular case. I've seen 24-25mpg on the freeway with the stock rear end, and have granny shifted my way to a 20mpg in the city. Only limiting factor for me is that I get a low rpm buck around 1400rpm, and can't get into 5th gear until around 40mph. For some reason it just doesn't run well under 2000rpm.

I talked to my friend Scoarer and he says the mpg is gonna be very minimal on an all motor vs a turbo or supercharged motor

You'll get better gas mileage with your o2's cycling between 15 and 15.5, and adjusting timing to match the proper amount of fuel. Obviously, with the safc, you can't do that, but it would be optimal.

Are there any DIY for the install or do the instructions that come with it pretty good?

Hey all just added the safc2 to my car just have a bfi and exhaust. Planning on supercharging, headers, and torque converter. DX3 and Ihiryu helped a lot when I put mine on. I have an 1992 SC400.

Here are some links that really helped me thanks to Lextreme:

i ended up soldering and re-working my wires a bunch but now got it going.

I think the car is the SC300. I've been told leaning out the SAFC will cause the ECU to advance the timing, which isn't good. Too lean at WOT could cause detonation.
