Default 21mpg city... SAFCII and 3.76's....

Some old pics of the SAFCII just got around to posting them.

More sneaky squirrel "stuff" added to the glove box.

With the SAFC leaning out cruise A/F's into the 16:1 range (and the 3.76 gears) Im now netting 21mpg city. Much improved over the 15mpg I was getting before. And the 21 is just an average of the last tank full. I had several WOT blasts on that tank so I'm betting mpg suffered a bit there. I'll get some highway MPG results soon.

I think the 500RWHP goal w/ 25mpg highway is reachable!

Time will tell.....

Right on, I do the same on my SAFC/UEGO setup. Wish I wasn't running the 4.08's still though.

humm been lazy to install my SAFC but after seeing your numbers I might get on this soon. would Mpg be higher on NA or with turbo cause I know for turbos the recycling becomes very efficient during lower rpms? or am I wrong?

SC400's typically run a little rich, so leaning it out with an SAFC would help gas mileage a little. Could also maybe pull out a few extra hp...

dang i would look into this. but...wouldn't know how to work something that has to do playing around with numbers on the engine and stuff. i'd probably blow sumtin up >_< or is it easy? cuz i definetly wouldn't mind better gas mileage and HP. and it can only get better with more mods.

Peace out

It is easy if you have a wideband. By the sounds of it you are still relatively new to this, so perhaps you could have someone install and tune it for you

peace out
