The oil return lines were damaged when the car came in, so I made a new one:

Mocking up the intercooler piping:

Started it up! Just need to finish up a few things before it's ready to hit the road.

Do you mind telling me which parts had to be replaced since it wasnt a SC300? I found a clean SC400 shell for relatively cheap and was wondering how hard this swap would be. Not talking about the harness which I would send out to you to re-pin but the mechanical aspect of it? So just trying to balance things to see if its worth getting the 400 or wait on a 300?

Nice build man. I got a question for ya, what size -AN lines (and how long) did you use to replace that stock ps line? I was thinking about eliminating the variable steering also, but it looks like you purposely kept in on. Got any suggestions to keep or not?

It's not really that bad, actually I used most of the SC400 stuff with a few custom brackets here and there, custom a/c lines, custom fuel line, custom p/s line, that's about all I can think of.

If I recall correctly those are -6 AN lines, length I don't know off the top of my head but if you want me to make one for you just measure out the length, send me the banjo bolt fitting that has the pressure switch on it, and the banjo bolt fitting that goes to the rack, and I'll make one up for you.

Personally I try to keep everything 100% functional like stock if at all possible.

3 to 4 days would be pushing it, not because of the time involved in doing the swap necessarily, but because there are so many odds & ends and sometimes you forget you need a part. Then you need to wait around for awhile to get it.

I would say that if all of the parts are here ready to go, the swap could be done in as little as a week.

Wow... I wish I had the time and money right now to do the 2jzgte swap into my sc400. I am currently saving for the motor, but crossing my fingers is really the only thing I have going for me right now. Nice work though, I would really like to see some pics of the car on here when it's done.

Doc, where in GA are you? That's some nice work you did there. It's coming along very clean. Can't wait to see the finished product!

Thanks, I took the completed pics but I need to get them off my partner's camera and get them up here. I'm in Savannah by the way.
