Default sc400 transmission cable

hey guys, i am kind of a noob around here and i barely have any posts, but i've been lurking and doing some reading.
i've been replacing the engine in a 92 sc400, and upon removal of the original engine/tranny i noticed the cable coming off of the tranny is broken at the base of the sleeve. the actual wire inside of the sleeve is fine, so the cable will technically still work, but i'd like to replace this whole cable/sleeve before i put the engine/tranny back in the car!

i'd like to replace the cable, but i'm not sure of the exact name of it, so i can't find a part number for it. i'm assuming it's the kickdown cable since it goes up to the throttle body, but i'm sure there's a more formal name. i think i saw it referenced as a "TV cable" when i did a few searches, but i need some more info.

would anyone happen to have one of these USED that i could buy so i don't have to go get raped at the toyota dealer? thanks!

I need to replace the same part - where did you locate the one you found?

Yeah, I'm in the same boat - my inner cable is good but the outer sleeve is hosed at the engine side and my tranny won't shift. Anyone know what this is called or where to get it?

. It’s called the kick down or throttle cable I got mine new on lexuspartsnow the book says you have to remember be the trans to replace but my mechanic dropped the subframe a few inches and dropped the transmission slightly and that was enough for him to get it on there, I used to have some odd shifts too , this fixed it, along with some drain and fills I’ve been golden for years now

I'm confused, that just looks like and end, not the complete assembly. Can this cable be replaced (or fixed) independent of the complete assembly?
