Default Torque converter?

i have a 95 sc300 and im wondering if a uprgraded torque converter would be a good move and how would it effect my automatic transmission?

For an auto SC300 an upgraded torque converter is one of the best mods you can do beside going NA-T. It will dramatically increase your off the line acceleration. From what I have read an upgraded torque converter can make shifts slightly more harsh but nothing damaging.
