whats up peoples. Time to bring this thread back to life. Sorry for the new screen name.....I had to make a new one because I forgot my old log in information.
So in the past years, I sold the car before fully completing it. The engine/performance aspect was done and we ended up with 640whp at 28psi on race gas. We were running out of fuel which is why we had to stop.
I sold the car to a buddy of mines and 3 years of owning it, he only put 40 miles on the car, lol. A few days ago, I bought it back for the same price he sold it to me. Here is what will be happening in the very near future....
-install orgin body kit and full color change. Gonna be going with a bright white paint job
-new rims
-redoing the interior with bride race seats and new black panels
-swapping out the existing turbo setup and going with a full race dual wastegate manifold, borg werner turbo, 4'" downpipe and midpipe
-stage 1 cams
-sp enginerring intake manifold
-1000cc injectors
-twin carbon clutch
-new v160 trans
-hks or greddy 3 row intercooler
So i got alot of work ahead of me. Im also juggling this project with jiu jitsu/mma practice daily and 2 jobs. Ill try to keep everything updated with pics and info as i get them. pics up soon, im currently trying to fit the body kit as we speak, lol

made some progress today. I was able to fit the sideskirts.
also started painting on the fenders, hood and trunk. I was excited to try out my new sata and see how it compared my old one. Needless to say, I was more than impressed at how well it lays clear.
gonna do light sanding and buffing, nothing too major since it won't be a show car. I don't have the best place to spray, but I make due. As long as it looks better than what it was before.

finally everythings all painted. my buddy came over and did the wetsanding and buffing. It came out really nice and shiny. My intentions was never to have a "nice" paint job, but more a "good enough" paint job, as performance weighs heavier than looks to me. Needless to say, I am more than happy with the results, especially since I bodyworked, prepped and painted everything in less than a week of owning the car.
I still have to fit the front and rear bumper, alls Im waiting for are the bumper brackets/retainers. Rims should be here on moday. Ill post pics tomorrow after I download them.

ATI damper, got it from summit. They had a really good sale and I had to jump on it.
Thanks man. This time around I am changing it up quite a bit. Since Im going with a full race setup and sp engineering intake manifold, I plan on polishing out alot of stuff. Compressor housing, valve covers, intake manifold, intercooler piping...etc etc.
I regret selling those time attacks, definately one of my favorites also. For the time being, Im using my drift rims (not the ones pictured) until my te37 sl's come in. The te37 knock offs make for some awesome track rims, lol. cheap and they get the job done. Pics to follow soon.
