BEWARE of OSAKAJDMMOTORS.com
emailed em and they said they had 1jzgte for both the soarer and supra in stock. so on my online order i made sure to say:
soarer
1jzgte for soarer
soarer
next day received a call, asking if i wanted the rear or front oil pan.....mmmk i told him rear. cause soarer = rear, supra = front.
about 2 weeks later it arrives, heres what i ordered, http://www.osakajdmmotors.com/codes/toyota1JZGTTE.htm
and this is what i got
- no flywheel
- should have a fan clutch, this one has a hydraulic system
- harness does not fit ecu
- does not have resistor box/igniter.
- map sensor not there
- plug for map sensor not on harness
- harness is cut where it connects to said resistor box/igniter
theyre claiming its my word against the sales person and what they sent was right. He explained that i purchased a used motor and not everything would be perfect. They use the same posting information for hundreds of engines and the map sensor or igniter arent always included. if they have them, they send em, if they dont, they dont.
then he asked for pictures. since then its been impossible to speak with them on the matter. so i'm taking it up with my cc company. not to mention they charge a 50% restocking fee for refused items. Are you kidding me.
cliffs: ordered 1jzgte from OSAKAJDMMOTORS.com, received missing parts and cut harness, engine, tranny, ecu, none of which go together

how much you payed?
Also...based on the ad,they do not disclose any info about an igniter or map sensor included with the motor
only arguement you have is that the harness is messed up and ecu does not match...
btw:the supra motor is rear sump also...only diffrerence is the ecu(should say supra or soarer) and fan setup

weird. My experience with them was quite pleasant. I got a supra 2jzgte with ignitor, uncut wiring harnes, and a Mines ECU from a six speed ( no Idea if I just got lucky or jdm supras come with the Mines ECU. It has a plaque which states it and everything.) Everything looks good, the engine harness is still attached to the ecus and to the sensors on the engine.. Maybe it is a hit and miss sort of thing? I don't know but personally they were good to me.

goodluck...I wouldn't knock on them just yet,try and work something out
btw:I had a chaser motorset that came from them in great condition....motor is making high 400's on pump in "Drewgo's" SC300 right now and R154 soarer/chaser trans was sold to "cherplex" soon to go on his 2jzgte swap I believe

dont worry dude. ship it back to them (with signature confirmation). file a claim with your credit card company and fax them the confirmation that they received the goods. you will then get a charge back. ive done this numerous times when companies are difficult to deal with or have stupid restocking fees and i always get my money back.
