Default exhaust or vaccuum leak

Hello I've been having a bit of an idling problem that I'm trying to narrow down.

The car seems to bounce and idle as if it has cams and it does it at the same interval as an air leak leak that is audible

the RPMs are constant at about 500 rpm. In neutral and Park it idles up to like 800 or 900 and it's fine but you can still hear the hiss hiss hiss hiss...

I have tried poppin the hood and listening real close everywhere but I just can't narrow it down...when you're so close to the engine while it's running you can talk yourself into it being anywhere.

I'm also wondering if it's a header/manifold leak at the block...which does the symptoms point more towards?
