The big red ketchup car at TX2K8
Someone thought my car was worthy of a pic or two; so, I'll share. They're the 2nd and 3rd pictures in.

Considering the motor and tranny were on the garage floor the Saturday before the event, I'm pretty happy with the result.
I buttoned everything up Wednesday, took it to the local dyno, and put down 685 whp at 28lbs of boost. On Thursday, I was running the road course at TWS. I signed up for the dyno event on Friday, but they couldn't fit me in. I was also going to make a few passes at the drag event Saturday, but the anti-lag was giving me problems when the two-step switched off. Am I disappointed?... Absolutely not! I had a great time meeting some CL members as well as hangin' out with the Dallas contingent that went.
I did learn something new... As much as I like the look and sound of my exhaust, it's definitely the bottleneck. Plus, the boost is wastegate limited. I'm putting down about the same numbers as before and that's with a bigger turbo and cams. Unfortunately, I couldn't really tune the car in the time I had before 2K8; so, there's probably a little more left in her.
The next step is a 4" dp/mp and dual 3" exhaust - it's already in the works. Hopefully then I'll be done!
If you're ever in Texas during spring break, come down and check out TX2K. It's a great event.

Thanks for the compliments. Props from fellow CL members is high praise, and I appreciate the kind words. Hopefully, I'll have time to enjoy the car now that's back up and running.
I wish I had pics of the interior; although a standard Lexus interior is all I have. However, it's almost in perfect condition, and it's the original interior from '95. I also don't carry any gauges except a digital dash from Gauge-Tech. Any warn conditions (i.e. overboost or lean AFRs) are programmed to my check engine light through the AEM.

Looks good Scott. I was hoping to make it down this year but it was the end of a huge sale at work where I couldn't take Thursday/Friday off, and airfare for Easter weekend to just fly down Friday night was horrible. Maybe next year!

Good meeting you, too. I look forward to seeing you and your car at TX2K9. Hopefully, we can maintain the standard Mario set at this years event.
