Yo, i got a question. I didn't see if you did this on a pre 98 But i did read about you talking about. Since the pre's have 3 gear mods on the shifter L-2-D. Will this work ?or does it a kit convert it ...

That cheap? wow, you got a steal. Most of the ones I've been looking at were $150-250, and that didn't even include the bezel or the shifter ****. Where did you find yours? I've been searching eBay and craigslist.

So for the SC300 gated, there's no 4th gear, is that correct? So what do you do with OD? That has to change the wiring I would guess. Thanks for any insight - trying to talk myself in to spending the money to do this but I want to be sure to buy the right things.

my shifter as follows. D= overdrive on. 3=overdrive off . 2=overdrive off. 1=overdrive off .overdrive is only engaged when in D and and all other gears works as it should. The switch was customized for it to work like this .here is a pic of the sc3 gated shifter in my sc.
