I was running a 255 60 MT drag radial on a 15 x 8" rim. Launching around 8psi. Pretty small drag radial. But I've cut 1.45 60's with that exact same setup in my rx-7. U should be able to get some serious meats under the sc300 no problem.

118 is haulin! Mid to low 11's easy w/ traction...

You're right though, it might be a task with the Getrag. I've just been wondering what my setup is capable of, and have been trying to gauge it against other peoples setups, so I thought I'd pick your brain a bit.
4090R is one bad unit, 67mm or so I believe. That turbo will really wake up @ 20-30 lb range. I'd go for the dual walbro in tank fuel pumps, larger injectors, and crank her up!

Dave H told me he rev's his cars 8k on a factory head all the time with no issues. I think you'll land 11's with no problems... Take some good video and let us know!

Yeah, the 4094R is a killer turbo. I love it! It spools ridiculously fast, and makes great pump gas numbers. I've got the fuel system already, I just haven't put it in yet. I'm waiting on cams and valvetrain to get here, so it probably won't be for a few weeks. It still has the JDM cams in it, so that's not helping my causes I'm sure! I'm gonna run it the way it sits and see what it does. I would think that my trap should be in the 120's, but again, I'm not sure, so it's all guessing at this point for me.

Good times man. I've gotta say I'm glad to finally see a picture of an SC on draglites since I've been contemplating a set (since I can get them in a 10" whereas Prostars in our bolt pattern/backspacing only go to 8). That's a heavy car!

BTW, added your time on the timeslip list, shows what a good 60' can do when you trap like 18 MPH lower than a car running similar ET's.

Thanks...

I'm surprised how many people throw 10-20k into a car and still run street radials at the strip? Amazing how well those MT drag radials work.... I could have probably netted a 1.5x w/ a 10-12lb launch. Track prep was really bad too.

I know, I know. I don't get it either. And those MT radials are great, I agree.

What height tire are you running? Also I'm assuming you dropped the ride height a bit? If so how much?

Thanks!

Oh and I'm using the auto supra LSD...

front is lowered 1" rear has stock TT supra suspension. and tires are 28"

Do your self a facor a buy a TRD diff next. You don't wanna do what i did yesterday on the track. I ran on radials because is all BOTI allowed and the only run i went full power i did a 90 degree sweep and touched the center lane.

11s are def in your future once the wind dies out, you def have the mph to back the passes up with an 11.

As far as the tranny goes, the forward clutch could be failing, or a sprag going out; on the early production BL tranny's the forward clutch was left stock; but they changed that within the last year or so..depending on when you purchased the tranny and if you got it from BL directly.

I ran a bl tranny in my supra for almost 4.5 years with over 90 passes w/o a single hiccup; going 9.86@147 on a PTE67DBB Turbo. I sold the supra this past August and built my sc over the winter.
