Some pics of my starter replacement.
I took some pics for some reason. Basically, my starter died - bought one from Advance and it wound up being a total piece of junk - it was knocking against my flywheel. After 2 weeks, I finally found the problem, bought one from Carson (which BTW, thank you so much for the help Carson!) and put it in. Followed by new gaskets! Heres the list.
OEM Starter
TB Gasket
Lower Intake Gaskets
Upper Intake Gaskets
8 Fuel Injector seal kits
EGR gaskets
PCV Valve and Grommet
New hose that runs under the TB (cracked)
New Crush Washers for fuel lines
Soaked the manifolds in purple power to clean it.
Car runs awesome - feels better than before, probably all the gunk removed. Pair it with a working starter... feels like a million bucks. Here are a few pics for you folks.
Before
After
Yeah, I would only wish this job on my worse enemy...
BTW - I just want to thank everyone for helping me with this and my lexus buddies for the rides : )

Your welcome for the rides not a problem. Yeah i thought it was a rod knock the way it had that on of hit noise.Damn something like this I would recommend get a Toyota re manufactured starter and not the off beat ones cause you see what happens (thumbs down). I know how to change a starter on one of those now hooray!
