The left one with the sensor is for the temp gauge on the cluster. The hole on the right is the ecu temp sensor.

You don't need a mass air sensor on a JDM 2JZGTE.

You need to look at the angles, i can't tell you exactly what year as this was 3 years ago being the last time we ordered one for a stock twin car.
