If you read my last post, you know that I worked out the breaking up while in boost. Well today my uncle and I went for a spin to his garage to check out his Impala Bubbletop. All was well on the 15min ride until we were coming back.
Just cruising at 45 or so and I felt a blip/bog just as I was looking down I saw that my A/F meter said 10.XX and then went back to 14/15. I kept my eye on the A/F from there on out when all of sudden it bogged super hard and was going from 10's to "lean" (PLX M300). I pulled off and my car dies.
Engine temp said I was good but it was pretty warm under the hood and I did a once over to look for anything obvious. Couldn't spot anything so I tried starting it again, nothing but super ruch and just barely running. Very stumped at this point I pulled out my SAFCII and noticed that it was on the programing screen. I have no clue what it was at to run normal so I try getting ahold of the tuner with no luck.
At this time 15min passes by and I decide to start it up again. Pops off perfectly and drives perfect the rest of the 7 miles or so back to the house. At this point I feel it wasn't the SAFC so what other options might it be? I didn't touch any settings, just got it off the programing screen.
