i don't see why the 2jz couldn't hold a big shot of gas, fuel will be a issue but upgrade your fuel system and ignition system, then run a big shot..

If its coming to a big nitrous shot, I'd run it in stages myself.

A nice SC300 can be bought cheap, but the engine is low on h.p. To look at the big 6 you want to think you could easily bump it up, without going turbo. Unfotunetly , it seems it cant be done.

A good weightloss would be a couple of Supra manual seats, but by the time you pay shipping would be exspensive.

i had an obx header on my 88 supra, fitiment was pretty lousy and quality was subpar at best.

either leave it as is or turbo it.

I don't see how forged wheels, aluminum LCAs, aluminum coilovers, and other stuff like that would be a negative modification for anyone. Gutting out a car is only part of reducing weight.

I dont think he meant it that way; those seem to be replacements and not just removals.

Consider a NA-T kit - piece one together or buy outright.
Save your money on buying NA peformance mods.

Well, its not so much saving money and not getting N/A mods. Personally, I want to free up as much horsepower with what I have before I boost, so I went a slight N/A route. I went ahead and installed the MVP header to keep me busy, did some exhaust and intake and plan on working with all of the pulleys that are under the hood tomorrow. Yea, it is a bit expensive but if you have a couple of dollars to spend, why not? My problem is losing interest in projects, so I buy little things here and there to keep me busy. I can certainly feel the difference already cleaning out the intake manifold, doing the K&N filter and exhaust. It feels so different all ready.

I agree. Unfortunately replacing stock parts with stronger, lighter materials isn't the cheapest route to go but there is weight to be lost without losing the luxury of the car. I will never, ever remove anything from the interior of my car as I prefer the comfort to stay the way it is. If my car is that little bit slower because I like having an AC and comfortable interior; oh well

you might want to do some suspension mods first...i know i know, you want POWER. But I'll tell you something, after I did basic suspension mods, I was more confident of using the car's power and put the car's power down better, giving me a placebo effect and led me to believe that the car is faster than it actually is
