bro your timing could not have been better
i have 2 hks hiper cans that i was about to post up
they are in mint condition .. i had them on my gs 400 then had it reconfigured to fit my sc300
i am about to order another set of hks pans because my car is turboed and i run 3in piping from my downpipe back and the hks pans that are used in in non force inducted are 2.25 in inlet
for your sc 400 you need the 2.25 inlet do not do 3inch you will lose the needed backpressure and your car will feel sluggish and slow i need to release back pressure to help expel gases to spool and flow better
the hks sounds mean as hell esp and the v8 motor .. theirs no drone and i currently have no cats and no resonaters period .. on my gs 400 i had cats and res and was the sweetest sound
i know the pans cost around 250 a piece new if you want to save yourself some dough i would give them to you for 300 for both which is a savings to u of over 200
mine also have the hangers already welded on to fit the sc and has 5inch tips
i can rfemove them next week and ship to ya asap lmk before i post in classified for they will sell quickly

Thanks for the offer, but im looking to buy new ones, my cousin (One HoT) is intrested in buying them though and have sent you a PM, just to confirm, so the one i need to get are 60mm pipeing? they have the 75mm and 60 mm ones, and 60 mm convert to 2.36in?, base on my research the ones i need are 2.25in piping, are they fine if i just get the 60 mm ones?, without losing power and back pressure blah blah stuff? thanks

with large piping you will loose low end, but you will gain more top end.
its all a matter of preference. If you drive your car to redline or high revs all the time the larger piping is better. if you short shift and keep it under 3k all the time then yes, you will not enjoy the larger piping very much.
**edit** actually i thought you had a sc300
that big v8 needs 2.5" at least FTW!!

stock piping was the best? then...should just get a muffler and weld it on? or...what? i'm looking into getting single exhaust exit. so since it's all going through one pipe for the back pressure thing. 2.5 would be good yes? since i'm not gonna run duals?
Peace out

Really...? I'm about to do my exhaust but getting confused now. I thought the consensus said to go with either 2.25" or 2.50" diameter on a SC400. The stock piping is only 2" I believe.
