I finally got to the page, he is selling a idler pulley, I am thinking that that may be how he adjusts the tension.

I'd love to see all boosted SC400s in a row for show and performance. Perhaps we can call it a special team, because it's time for bragging rights and rarity...LOL. I believe there're less than 15 boosted SC400 in the whole world.

twizted,

Nice setup. I think you should machine the Ford logo off and somehow put lexus on it though, that would be hot!

I used timing belt idler pulleys from a v-6 camry to both route the belt on the bracket and to replace the stock, ribbed idler pulley on the top.

Here's a pic of my homemade tensioner. An L bracket, a bolt and a couple of nuts. About $5 worth of material and about 10 minutes to make. So far no problems with it.

Here you can see the idler installed onto the bracket.

BTW guys, thought you might be interested, there's a guy over at Soarer Central doing a centrifugal setup. He's NOT using the "fish" bracket, he's using a bracket that is made in Australia and he says quote "I am not using the 'FISH' bracket. I am using a different bracket that is made here in Oz to suit the soarer so I guess it accommodates more of the auxiliary stuff than the LS400 derived 'fish'".

I'm trying to find out more info, too late for me but could be something to look at for those wanting an FI setup.

Here's a link to a little more info on the other bracket. He's supposed to PM me with more info. IMO, it looks MUCH better for use on an SC400.
