Default Pulsation damper needed?

I just noticed on the wolfkatz fuel rails for the 1UZ did not have a place for the pulsation damper. Just looked like with the AN fittings on the ends you would just run in the back of one and run the return out the back of the other. Is it ok to run the fuel system like that without the damper? Thanks to anyone who might know and answer this for me. Matt
