so they say your suppose to change your oil every 3months or 3k miles.
wells its been 3 months but ive only driven 2k miles. should i change it or is it still good?
Will not changing it affect performance or gas mileage???
penzoil fails really bad dude, it doesnt matter if its synth or not. i worked at jiffy and we did some tests on the oil, and it makes like wax crap inside ur engine and its extremely bad oil. use mobile one!

What kind of test did you perform because Pennzoil syn return great results on most engines. Oil analysis results will dictate this.
either way, a 10 mile drive to work and back plus short drives on the weekends dont allow the car to reach to its full operating temperature for very long periods of time which puts more stress on the engine. Even if its synthetic oil, it should always be changed on a regular 3 months/3,000 miles basis.
No it doesn't. I've ran most engine oil before but in the end I stick to Pennzoil or mobil 1, whichever one is cheaper. Keep in mind that I also do some serious stop and go driving every day. Oil analysis will show that the pennzoil synthetic will have good wear. Basically any oil that passes federal standard is good enough. After all, your car was built to be ran under those oil.
