looking good! Are you just going to buy like an ebay FMIC kit or something later on?
I'm not sure. I heard the intercooler is something you can go cheap on, but I want to do some research first. An FMIC is definitely going to be next on the mod list though.
I've had FMIC's on my 97 VR4 and my 93 VR4..both ebay, no problems with either. I'd personally pop for the XS power one..I'm planning on getting my full setup from them anyway.
Cool man thanks! I don't think I could justify spending $700+ on an intercooler. The XS power kit is supposed to be pretty good. I almost went that route, but I would have had to pull apart my old engine because compression numbers were a bit low. (piston rings i think)
Went to the shop again today to get another baseline run done. The verdict? 257.9whp and 269.2ft/lbs. Yay! Standard math says I'm making just over 300 to the crank!
Also, quick question. My AFR gets down to around 10:1. Is it normal to be running this rich at redline? Its a completely stock motor with stock ECU and no tuning. Only mods are intake and exhaust.
No, I haven't changed it. Should I have done that when I put the engine in?
And I'll probably get an SAFC or something once I get a boost controller, so I can up it a couple of pounds. That should follow this fall.

Haha, you and your math, I'd get a second opinion

Figured I would update this with some engine pics. I finally rerouted my IC piping. It was going under the headlight before, but I think this is a lot cleaner. It leaves some extra room behind the bumper for more cold air to get to the engine bay. I think I'm going to make kind of a scoop under the headlight too.
I tried that but it didnt work for me....from the bottom of the relay, into the black/white wire right? I also have a fuse in the extra tranny connector. Could it be because I'm a 95?
