I'm finishing up my 1jz rebuild and getting ready to swap it in by the end of this month. The only real issue i have yet to decide on, is what I should do with my wiring harness.
I'm running a Blitz ACCESS 1jz ECU, and I was just going to extend the body plugs and relocate it further up in the dash. Is this optimal way to go? I could care less if the ECU sits in the oem location, I just don't want it to be a headache when i go to install electronics later down the road (EMS, or SAFC).

I only extended the body plugs, so my ecu sits behind the glove box somewhat. To wire in my AFC I unplugged the ECU and pulled the wires into the engine bay, and soldered on leads there, then pulled them back into the car with them labled and connected them inside the car.
So far no boost leaks save for the occasional disconnected coupler. We'll see how it holds up after I up the boost though.
The clutch I'm using now is a centerforce stage 1, and it's held up fine so far.

Thanks for the info on the clutch. How do you like it? Does if feel similar to stock? I'm trying to get away from a on/off button style clutches.

I love the clutch! It feels just a little stiffer than stock, but not any stiffer than some stock cars. The engagement is like stock, but nice and crisp. You can do a nice smooth launch when you want, or you can do a hard launch. The only thing is that if you're driving hard for long periods of time, constantly mashing through the gears, it can heat up pretty quickly and start to give you problems until you let it cool down. Its only happened to me once at a drift day though. Otherwise it's fine for most hard driving.

What did you do with the vacuum from the power steering pump?
Where did you run those two vacuum lines?
If you could take a pic that would be awesome....im helping my friend doing the swap right now and wasn't sure about that

Yea because I was looking at the "pic heavy thread" and he has a braided line without the two vacuum ports.
One of my friends vacuum fittings are broken so I wonder where you route the lines if you replace that with a braided line.

I haven't done a supra to SC swap, but my friend did an aristo swap and a few things he needed to do that you will need to were:
-harness
-water pump
-downpipe
-intercooler/piping
