I like the looks and layout of the exhaust. Nice job. Its painfully obvious that the SC300 oem exhaust has no business on a turbo car. I am puzzled that no one is brought this up, the 3" downpipe brought you the gains, what you do after that is irrelavant as long as it retains three inch or more flow to the tip. The 4" part is wholly irrelavant to the h.p. gains, had you retained 3" out the back I'm guessing the numbers would be nearly identical.

I'd be more interested in a 4" downpipe to twin 3" out the back, I'd bet on a gain with that setup on a medium or better single.

You guys realize is that you do NOT have to use 4" exhaust piping to get gains, it was all done on ditching the SC300 stock exhuast for a 3" downpipe =/+ out the rear.

That is also a question, why bother with the added hassle/$ of 4" if you've got the 3" downpipe and power goals within normal 1j capacity?

I'd crank the boost up or do a single turbo to justify what's there now.

This is false.

On turbo hondas we typically see 25-30whp and harder spool switching from a 3" to 4" dp, while retaining a 3" exhaust. On turbo saabs, a 3" d/p with the STOCK 2.37" exhaust picked up nearly 30whp, and 25 lb/ft of torque. On 3000gt 6g72 twin turbos, we ran 11.4@124mph with stock downpipe (gutted cats) and no exhaust, switched to a larger 2.5-3" dp and kept the dual 2.25" exhaust out the back and ran 11.2@125.5 through the STOCK CAT.
