You said the CEL isn't on, but did you try to pull codes anyways?
How about swapping in a good working TPS and see what happens. Maybe your TPS is going since you said it ran better after you smacked it.

I haven't tried to pull any codes. The CEL doesnt come on at all. But I will see later on if I can pull any codes.

I just finished doing the 12-volt mod and installing my walbro255 and still haven't had much luck. The car runs good after the ECU reset but shortly after it will go back to surging and the A/F gauge would read 10 - 12.

Even if I pull max fuel with the AFC it STILL manages to get to shoot to 10 and back.

I have a feeling it could be my plugs/plug wires. I was messing around in the engine bay and fiddling with the plug wires and when I check the A/F gauge it was back at 14/15.

Yea the CEL bulb does work which is why I didnt bother to check for any codes. lol.

I can't remember if the plugs I bought were car specific. I never gapped them.

I drove the car again to work yesterday it runs great aside from the issue in the video i posted above. Once the car warms up to operating temp, thats when the A/F goes nuts. Do you guys think all the heat from the turbo/manifold could be an issue? I have no heat shielding or anything in there at the moment. I know thats not smart but I have all that stuff on the way.

I ordered a turbo blanket, heat wrap, bkr7e plugs, ngk wires and a new TPS.

Good news. I swapped on the brand new TPS I got from autozone. I let the car warm up and run for a little and from what I could see it didn't act up at alll. The read out on my AFC also read 0.0% for the throttle.

It used to jump around from 1% to 0.3%. I'll actually drive the car tomorrow and see if it acts up again.

I'll post up the part number for the TPS from autozone in case anyone wants it. It came out to a little under 100$.

Still no luck today =/

I finish putting some heat wrap on my downpipe and I let the car run to dry up the water on the heatwrap. A little after the car warmed up the wideband started bouncing like in the video above...

I'm gonna change my plugs, wires, rotor and install the 4 runner dist. cap tomorrow. If that doesnt do it then I don't know what else I should be checking.
