C's Soarer Shifter?

Just do a search. I thought MVP motorsports was a dealer. But I don't see it listed on there site anymore. C's US and Japanese site are both down. I hope they didn't go out of business again. Damn cheap china made parts. Killing all the quality stuff.

MVP has them. I was going to order one but never got around to it. Kevin deals with the SC300 guys and offers some kick *** service. I would give him a ring and see what he can do for you, tell him I referred you to him.
Matthew,
Came in today! Let me know if you want me to ship and if so, which card to charge.
Thanks

Kevin

I thought that due to the different design of the 92-93 shifters, that NO ONE made a short shifter for it.
I was under the impression that the C's and the TRD short shifters only worked on the later model W58s (was it 94 or 95 where the tranny tunnel was redesigned and the shifter extension changed?) for the SC.
Can anyone confirm that they have a short shifter that they have actually installed in a 92 or 93? Which shifter? Was any modification required? Where did you get it (where can I get one)?
Thanks,
Marcus

How many times has this been covered....
Trust ME, the C's short shifter will not work on the 92-94 SC's!!!! There was no short shifter ever offered that will fit on their version of the W58. Only 1995-1997 SC300's had the same W58 as the Toyota Supra, so thats the only years the C's or TRD short shifter will work on.
FWIW, I have owned a 1993 SC with the old tailshaft assembly and now own a 1996 SC with the updated one (and I actually have the short shifter installed). I've taken both apart, I know they aren't interchangeable.

Here is my thread on short throw shifters for pre 95 W58. I did some extensive research and I purchased the one from www.suprasport.com $279.00. Seven months with no problem. So yes there is shifters out there for 92-94 with the ball end. Here's my thread and the links to companies that sells them:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...hifter+nate579
Companies that offer shifters for pre-95 W58:
The one I purchased for my 92 1jz SC

http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/pric...Short_Shifters
http://www.bestshortshifter.com/Temp...=22&SearchYN=N
If you have any questions pm or post here. Basically I think most if not all shifter for a MK3 Supra will work on the W58 (92-94) I know these 3 will.

For the pre-95 SC300 with a curved-neck on the shifter, you can use a MK3 short shift kit as nate579 discovered by boldly going where no one had gone before.
If you are looking for a great deal on that short shifter, drop an email for a parts quote to the guys at OOParts International. I received the exact short shift kit you need, made by C's, from them in less than a week for all of $270 (including international express shipping). For a genuine C's product, you really can't beat that price. Fuzzy, their American customer service rep, is a pretty helpful guy for only knowing about 500 words of Engrish.
