i wouldnt see the difference mechanically besides different transmissions. i think with the 6speed there are more details you need to take care of where as the w58 should pretty much be plug and play.
Ive done two auto to 5spd swaps and am going on to my third next month. I say the only difference between the auto - 5spd and the auto - 6spd swap is that with the 6spd you are doing more work and using more parts. You need the 6spd driveshaft, 6spd Diff, and the 6spd axles to make the tranny work. Not to mention you are also spending a whole lot more. The 5spd swap is pretty much just straight forward. Tranny, Driveshaft, Lines, pedals, ECU (optional), clutch kit, done.
