I dunno if it could be something like this,

but on some older honda's, mainly 90-93 integras

the solder on some of the connections for the main fuel relay would crack with age and the car will not start in hot weather..

maybe something similar with your ECU? or another connection?

I tried the lowest possible setting (sitting on bumpstops) on the bilpercoils and I do not rub at all also, loving it! I lifted it back up though, too harsh for me for DD.

Got out from work @ 10, so the car has been off for 9 hours.

Would not start (No CEL in "on" position). Called my friend to come get me at work. Tried in the on position, NO CEL. Twisted back to ACC and then to ON. CEL was on, car started.

Got home, thought about it, and about 10:35 I tested my theory. Went from ON to ACC to OFF and back, the CEL light would pop on occasionally, and allow me to start the car.

Friend came over at 11 and I was going to show him how I got it to work. I could not get it to work again. CEL stayed off, car would not start, no matter how many times I went back and forth into the ON position.

Its 2:30 now, friend dropped me off and for giggles, I tried to see if the car would start. Sure did, first try, CEL came on, car started no problem.

So I am flabbergasted.

Were there any recalls on these ECU's?
check continuity between the ignition wires and ECU. Check if the wiring is good between the fuse and the switch. it's frayed or loosely connected somewhere.

Well friend came to the rescue and brought me a spair 1uz ECU. First try and the car worked. We will see if this fixes it or is just a fluke.

So far so good. about 5-6 starts and about a combined 30 miles of driving so far in about 4 hours. Car is still working... lets hope it stays this way.

Did this ever work out for you? My car has had this same kind of unpredictable random no-start no-spark condition ever since I got it, and I don't want to drive it anywhere for fear that it will not start!
