System Too Lean (Fuel Trim)
Took it to a Lexus dealership hopefully to get a better diagnostic and solution, which was a con for more money. They said my sensors are fine, just could be MAF which they trying to tell me is $800 for the part and $500 labor? hahaha... I've cleaned it so far and no luck yet. Then they said if it doesn't clear it then its maybe the ecu, which would be in the $2K range. I'm like, "Dude, I rather pay a shop to pass my inspections for a while until I do the Supra motor TT swap..." Other than the CEL, it drives smooth as hell, but that light sure bugs me, make me want to take that bulb out the cluster... hahaha...

Update: So far I've recently added BG 44k fuel additive... So far getting inconsistent readings which starting to seem like a good sign... still getting the P0171 reading, but It'll come on in 4 cycles and maybe 2 some times, then once showed all five codes, then p0171, then 3 codes, then p0171...
It seems to run so much cleaner and perkier now... May finish this tank off and put in another bottle to see that will do the trick... Then, if it just shows the p0171... Will look into replacing MAF...
Anybody on here did any MAF upgrade like using one from a sc400 or ls400 onto the 2jz? On research, I've only seen to find is they done onto 1jz or MKIII supras...

Update: Just decided to not worry about being a wuss on taking apart the throttle body to change the spark plugs this past Saturday. Don't know what the previous owner was thinking when they changed out spark plugs and put in a set of Autolites for a Lexus. Currently put in NGK iridiums and change wires to NGK as well considering it's an 11 year old car w/ 138k miles on it. After erasing the CEL and numerous drive cycles, has not came back on which hopefully means I fixed this problem and can pass inspection legitimately... hahaha...

that's the code I had! I just typed this out
"Well I didn't end up replacing the 02 sensor. I unplugged both used some contact cleaner on all 4 ends. Popped them back together and cleared the codes. Now I been driving for a bit and no CEL or codes popping up. Car is running smoother and doesn't seem to have a lag from 2.5k-4k rpms anymore. "
