throttle-body question

throttle-body question
Im considering replacing my TRAC- control throttle body with a non- trac. throttle body to eliminate clutter and possible air obstruction, if the trac. control should get stuck because of lack of use and carbon deposits. My question is, has anyone ever seen a stuck air blade part of the trac. control of the throttle body on a 95 400?

Again answering my own question. I got off my laziness and went out and pulled the air intake tube off the throttle-body and took a look at the air plate of the trac-cont., it was not gummed up and has a stiff spring to keep it held open. I was believeing that there was more to the trac. control than there was. I was thinking the cruise was part of it which is not. If you were removing the trac.cont. for weight and clutter, you would need to remove the cruise as well to make it worthwhile. Now the ABS junk, let me know when you get that figured out.
