i tried rolling the fenders with a baseball bat, it came out okay but i didnt heat up the paint, now theres paint chips missing on the inside cant really notice it though. i work in hillside right next door.
I have a +38mm offset, but the tires stick out a wee bit more, because they're 285mm width, on a 9.5" wide rim.
I'll try to roll the fenders this weekend.
You're pulling on a wheel with a 38mm offset? I would just run a 275 and roll the fenders. Pulling is more for those who want the wheel sticking way past the fender like in icms001's picture. You see how far the wheel is sticking out? Thats when I would look into pulling the fender. If you are just doing it for the tire it might look a little funky.
What's the point of a 285 on a 9.5? Are you losing traction? And +38 offset would fit with no fender mods. Not telling you to put a 235 on it but a 265 or 275 would be less headache.

yes, I did have traction issues with 255s in the rear, and I got these 285s for 120 shipped, and they look bad ***.
