SC570? Is it possible or even practical?

If you are intending to purchase the 5.7L to just swap the motor, then slap a basic turbo or supercharger set up on your current motor instead and call it a day. You will be spending a quarter of the money and be experiencing one-tenth of the headache during install to make the same power and torque.

If you are intending to fabricate an insane forced induction and/or nitrous car, then the 5.7L is definitely to your advantage: there is no replacement for displacement. Hell, TRD came out with a supercharger for the 5.7L that makes 510hp and an obscene amount of torque. If this is your goal, now we are talking.

Moral of the story: if you want 381hp, you can do that for less than $5k on your current motor. Take a look at what Stevechumo and KC95SC400 have done. If you need the displacement to have 800wtq from idle to redline or something obscene, then go for it. Or, hell, if you just want to be different and you value that enough to spend the coin and the headache for the fabrications necessary, then go for it.

For my money, just mess with the stock motor. The upgrade path is well defined enough that you will be running circles around your friends in their 335i's or G37's for way less than it would cost to buy and install the 5.7L.

I guess ill stick to supercharging. Sounds like engine swapping is gonna be a real pain. Anyone know where you can get kits for the Eaton M90?

Richwood Technologies and Rush Imports both make M90 manifolds for our motors in Australia. Their kits still require some modest fabrications to work; but, they will get you most of the way. Both Richwood and Rush suggest using the stock fuel system, with perhaps an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator to up pressure (and subsequently increase injector flow) if you are running 7psi or less boost. At 7psi, you will have one mighty fast car that will shred tires like few vehicles on the steret can.

I was lookin around and there's also a kit that can use the M112 also if you want to go that route

Yes there is a M112 Supercharger currently available. All you need to do is to get a Ford SVT Mustang Cobra Supercharger from 2003 to 2006. They are M112. Get the manifold along with the M112 adaptor plate and few other misc things and you are set. That charger and 4.7L can easily make 500 rwhp. Those Cobras with 4.6L make that amount all the time.
