Exclamation Best cold air intake filter?

I have a 99 lexus sc400 and would like to know whats the best replacement air filter to get for it? I just want the stock regular rectangular filter not a mod.

Whats the best way to go? oiled ones like K&N or the foam ones like true flow or just a plain paper one?

On some forums they talk about the oiled ones leaving a oily residue on some sensors...

I've heard good things about the foam true flow but all the websites I've been to only sell them for the years 92 - 97. Did the air filter design change in 98? Or would a 92 - 97 fit in my 99?

Thank you

the more flow going into the engine, the more dirt will come with it...stick with OEM, and cut the airbox to allow more air to go in without sacrificing filtration

oe is the best. I used an oe box(bfi'd) with Apexi filter on a T78. Box is fed by 2 X 3inch pipes:
