Default help with bypassing a/c compressor

I have a 92 sc300 and the ac compressor fell out. I didn't care much cause i plan on swapping engine out anyway. My question is how long should the serpentine belt be if i want to bypass it...which, I do. I put one one that was 60", but it is screaming even a little at idle. Please help me.
