Default Flex Pipe Help

hey guys, i've been searching and havent really found anything. can anyone help me find a flex pipe for a 95 sc300. i cant stand the noise and rattle anymore and so far the shop i've went to said it'd be around 700 for the flexpipe and that seems rather ridiculous to me.

any help is appreciated, thanks.

A flex pipe? eBay has generic flex pipes the can be welded in for cheap. I don't see why a flex pipe would be 700 dollars, unless you're talking about the downpipe with the cats in it. That's the only thing I can think of that would be anywhere near that expensive.

they are prolly replacing it with the cat too thats why so expensive even their price isn't so cheap if your thinking about replacing the stock flex pipe gl most shops won't do it... your other bet if you using the stock is to find a used one in good shape

Do you have a rattle when ur stopped in drive? After I got my mufflers I noticed a vibration through the floor of the car and a heard a rattling sound. A few weeks later it got worse and worse, everytime I would come to a dead stop I would put it in neutral for it to go away. I thought my cat was falling apart or my heatshield was loose. It was neither, i had cracked the bracket that bolts up to the cat and trans. I went to a muffler shop and they welded it up in 5 mins

Another choice is an OBX header off ebay for about 300 bucks.

Well why are you replacing this? Does your flex pipe have a hole in it? Or is your catalytic converter toasted?
