Default New Starter???

Car is a 94 SC 300, when I try turning the car on there is nothing, no click click, engine does not turn over. However all dash lights and radio come on fine, alternator and battery replaced approx. 3 months ago. Does this sound like the starter?

Also would a starter from a 2JZGTE off a 94 Supra be interchangeable with the 94 SC300 2JZGE?

i believe the starter isn't as the tranny are different, did you check power going to starter?

The transmissions are different but the starters are mounted in the same location. I have a stock starter mounted with the TT tranny. So I would say yes, it should fit. As underpsi mentioned make sure that you have power to the starter. It's common for the cable connections from the battery to the starter get corroded. Clean them up. I would check the starter relay first.

Update: I tried starting the car up yesterday and after a couple times the car fired right up. I drove it around the block shut it off and then tried starting it again and it fired right up again. Any ideas?

sounds like power is not getting to the starter at times. Check the relay and all the wiring to the starter itself. Clean off the terminals of all corrosion while you're at it.

Early indications of it going bad. I'd look into a replacement as soon as possible.
