lol, it's backwards. the completely flat side is always the flywheel side. just reverse the disk, and you're good.

I don't think so, the side with the scratches faced the engine, and the side with the protrusion faced the tranny......

hey bro, its all backwords lol. the side with the scratches needs to face the rear of the car or the pressure plate......

yea you installed it backwards. no harm no foul. reminds me of the time i installed the release fork backwards in the legend's 6 speed trans. took forever to pull out and put back in again! glad we could help

just for future refrence, the side you could put complely flat on a table is the side that goes against the flywheel. the spring side goes towards the trans.

Yeah, just got dne with putting the tranny on, too tired to finish. The clutch disk has springs on both sides though, the only hint i can think of is the disk hitting the flywheel bolts, that's why it had scratches,i shoulda caught the clearance prob. if nothing comes up, it should be running tomorrow....... thnx guys, really......
