Hello,
I am looking at my ecu pinouts and the wires that go to them on my 2jzgte ecu. I noticed that pin 76 on plug E9 (big plug) does not exist. This pin, according to my ecu pinouts, is for the neutral safety switch. This pin exists on my automatic 2jzge ecu, but not on my 6spd supra ecu.
Can anyone with a manual ecu (5spd or 6spd) tell me if this wire exists or not on your harness?
I would have to guess that pin 76 only exists on automatic ecus since their plug for the neutral safety switch is on the engine harness near the auto transmission.
Manual ecu's and harnesses that go with them do not have this wire since the neutral safety switch is probably located inline on the wire going to pin 77 of the ecu which is for the starter, creating an open while the clutch is not depressed.
