i bought a 1jz-gte soarer clip from a place called j and r http://www.jrautoparts.com/toyota_clip1.htm on 5/15/08. i have had nothing but problems with the entire clip. i payed 2600$ for a broken and worn r154, blown turbos, a 1jz with bad main bearings, bad alternator, ac pump, power steering, water pump you name it, it was bad...... my advise to anyone thinking about buying a clip, is stay clear of this place. he may talk like you will be happy with your clip in the beginning. but as soon as you come back with issues he will turn to a different person. Another bad thing about this shop, is the owner doesnt take pride in his work and doesn't conduct business any better then his sales man Vincent.
