And actually, since my car did not come with a phone, I am going to be doing the following once the gated swap is done:

--Relocating the TRAC button to the left side of the steering wheel in the blank punch panel (opposite the cruise control paddle.)

--Heated seat buttons will be fitted into the radio filler panel that I am making to surround my touch screen. This filler will be made from an old Pioneer radio out of a 92 SC400.

ECT button will be rewired as planned to the 98+ button.

Can anyone verify that I can use the wiring as shown in the pics?

No one has any help in wiring this thing? As of tomorrow I will have the wood trim.

How can I wire this existing harness.

Best advice I can offer you is to grab hold of the factory service manual and see if you can match up the wires. That's my plan... haha.

Edit:

I also read in the thread that the wiring is the same, so again the FSM would be the best way to find out for sure.

What I would like to know is if a sc400 shifter will work in a 300 and if the shift linkages need to be modified.

I think I read that the sc300 shift linkage didn't need to be modified, but the sc400 needed to be cut shorter.

Not sure about the sc4 shifter into a sc3

I actually have an SC300 shifter now.

My only issue is the wiring.

You don't have to modify the 300's linkage, and can actually just reuse your current one.

I just need help on the wiring, so if anyone can help I would appreciate it.

So the sc400 shifter will work with the SC300 linkage?

Default SC400 to SC300 Gated Shifter Swap

If I remember correctly that's what my friend did. He had a SC400 and the Gated Shifter came out of a SC300. He just swaped the linkage rewired the Gated Shifter. ooh, Igot a print out of the 98 SC300/SC400 electrical schematic but my scanner is gone. So let me know if or when you need that. What's good with that OBD11 ECU & MAF Swap. I need to go for a ride in that BEAST

I have posted pics but seriously....I can't get one definite answer as to the wiring.

I might be able to get another harness, but its from an SC400...though I have heard the 400 harness works.

I would like to just use what I have, since...well, I have it.

Seriously? No one can give any insight to this? This is very frustrating.

Here are some pictures of the wiring that I have with my size 12 shoe for length comparison.

The harness is out of a 1999 SC.

A yard that has a 2000 SC400 can't figure out if their complete harness is the same.

If someone can just give me any help on how to wire the one that I have, provide a picture of what I am missing, I would greatly appreciate it.

Notice the cut section.

By my cut section is a white plastic brace that has a ground spot where a bolt goes through.
