those bolt on kits don't give much HP for what it's worth so save your pennies before you go and pick one up. BFI is much better because it moves the filter down into the front bumper for colder air. And it's cheaper but you might need to get a little creative in fabrication.
Really? Never seen a BFI where the entire box was moved down there

well you did it on the sc4 i see...but my 2jz?? it wouldnt make sense im thinking. still havent started my project
i cant find dang Polypropylne anywhere and not sure what else to use for a cover. I really wanna just do some piping down into the front and just put a cone filter from K&N or something...would that be a gain? and if i did it would i keep the maf? Also, does the length and width of the piping have an effect? like for example if i track is all the way down to the driver side air hole?
