Hey Guys I Need Some Help... I Am Thinking Of Getting A 92 Sc3 5sp For A Good Price... But My Plans To Do To The Car Is A 1jz Or 2jz Swap But Since The Car Is A 5sp Already Would I Need To Also Get A New Tranny... Or Just Leave It Stock?? What Do U Think?

you can swap in a 1jz or 2jz and leave the trans in there. the trans choice will depend on your power goals as well as your driving style. if you know how to shift and dont riser "power shift" then you can get away with about 350ish on stock trans without issues.

if you plan to leave the 1jz mostly stock, other then maybe exhaust and such a w58 is fine.

roll around with the stock 2jz-ge/w58 for a bit. Build up a r154 if you are going to be looking for some decent to outrages hp #'s good luck.
