Not a bad idea, I might try that until agila gets back to me, thanks. Can I keep this as a permanent solution or do I have to use the valve?

What exactly does a heater control valve do? I'm pretty sure its not the hose because the leak is coming from passengers side of the unit in the middle behind a screw. I'm wondering if I actually need this or can I just permanently by pass it?

Is the heater control valve on the 92-93 SC300 the same as the 97?

If its coming from behind the screw its the heater control valve. You can check it by running car and having a partner switch from full A/C to full heat. You will see that valve swing and coolant will drip, dribble or possibly squirt out.

I just had this happen and I got mine from Aliga on Friday!

Check out my thread...This seems to be going around right now.

Yeah thats what I did and after about 2 minutes or so of the ac/heater on it starts dripping right from the screw. I lost all my paint on the cross member.
