Default throttle body

just a couple of questions fellas.when cleaning out the throttle body should you just spray cleaner on a rag or just spray cleaner directly in to clean it.also if you are spraying directly in should the car be running.also should i spray cleaner into pc valve to clean it or should i remove it and spray in.i read some diys where they did both i just want to know which way is the correct way.if their is a correct way.THANKS FELLAS.oh 97 sc 300 automatic

I dont think you should clean the TB while the car is running.Just do it right and take it off to clean it.

When you clean the TB with the engine running you are not using the air filter, and anything from the rag,like lint and stuff can get in your engine .

Just my 0.0002 cents

Take the TB off and spray right into it!

thanks for responding fellas,i already cleaned MAF sensor i need to clean the throttle body now, but it looked pretty clean but i'll clean anyway just so i know it was done
