Performance & Maintenance Engine, forced induction, intakes, exhausts, torque converters, transmissions, etc.

Default Please help.

Ok last night at the shootout I had a 200 shot in, and I guess I timed it wrong, and i had a horrible nitrous backfire, and it shot a big flame through the entire intake, I did a makeshift repair on it, and it was running horrible, and was running a second and a half slower than it did before the explosion.

It's either the MAF or something else, please help.
can I run without MAF?

Uhm, pretty sure your car needs a MAF to run, lol if you shot fire out through your intake, then yes, your MAF is probably ****ed, and you'll need to replace it.

Yes you definitly need to run with a MAF sensorr cause the car will not run. You might have burned the sensors to the point were it does not funtion correctly. The IACV could also have been damaged other then the MAF. Make sure that you didn't blow any vacuum hoses off of the intake causing a vaccum leak. Running into more problems with that nitrous then you can deal with. Go to forced induction unless you just want to blow your car up on spray which like it seems it is going in that direction.

forced induction just does not do like nitrous like i run faster times than all these other sc400s with tt or a sc

can you post the dyno sheet and another video of one of your passes?

Im not doubting your claims, but with the last stunt you pulled I question your credibility.
