I purchased the basic parts of a turbo kit but i''m still not sure on what other things i need to buy to get the SC bpoosted and on the road. I plan on low boost and stock fuel to begin with, then later moving up to bigger injectors, headgasket, fuel pump etc. to be making around 420whp. I'm planning on running MAPECU for this set up, if anyone knows a good tuner in south Florida or any tips on tuning it myself, I'd really appreciate it. Also, is there anything you can think of that i might be forgetting before i jump into this project?

My list of parts i have so far:
-T61 turbo
-FMIC
-Manifold
-wastegate
-downpipe
-oil lines
-Oil feed:
SC300 Union bolt
Drill bit (11/32)
1/8 NPT tap
Ziplock bag full of lithium grease
-Oil return:
1/4" Arbor drill bit
7/8" Hole saw
3/4-14 Pipe tap

If you are going to run the crossover intake manifold, you should buy a turbo blanket. The throttle body coupler sits right over the exhaust housing. I didn't see you mention intercooler piping or a bov, but that's a no-brainer. When you do your head gasket, go ahead and replace cam stem seals and the distributer seal. My dizzy seal was shot.

Exact same set up i got, but i got what you mention'd you are going to do in the future (fuel, injectors, 1.3mm headgasket). im also going to run methanol with my set up. when are you planning on doing the installation

Thanks guys. I plan on doing the install as well as a 5spd (w58) swap over my christams break.
As far as the coilovers, i dont remember where i got them, I'll look for a receipt or something soon.

Update: i just bought the 4runner distributor, cap, and wires so the turbo will clear the distributor. Will also be purchasing MAPECU1 hopefully by the end of the day... Christmas break feels like forever away.
