Just curious.
What fluids do you guys use?
Oil, PS, Tranny, Coolant, Brake, etc.

 

Of course I'm going to say AMSOIL.

In the past I have tried Mobil one, German Castrol Syntec, Red Line and Royal Purple, which were all decent oils I just like the AMSOIL more.

 

Oil: Mobil 1 or Royal Purple
PS: Autozone brand
Tranny: GM Syncromesh
Coolant: OEM Red
Brake: I don't even know

 

Oil: Castrol GTX 10W30
PS: NAPA AT fluid
Tranny (W58) : Royal Prup. 75W-140
Coolant: Some tasty green stuff that came with the car
Brake: NAPA SAE standard fluid

OneJay, does the 1JZ require the red coolant?

ps - red line
tranny - royal purple synchromax - w58
coolant - pennzoil + water wetter
brake - ate blue

 

oil-whatever that's on sale as long as it's fully synthetics 5w 30 (tryin to save some $$)
ps-no clue, never changed it ever since i bought it 2 years ago
tranny-GM synchromesh
coolant-Prestone and water
brake-some cheap DOT 3 i think..

 

I would recommend it. I used to have red, but then I went to green because most of my red leaked out due to a faulty hose in the middle of the night. Now I want to go back to red, but I don't want to flush my entire system... again.
