Default compression ratio, help!!!

I'm getting a good deal on used Wiseco pistons, but they're 8.5: 1 pistons. Any idea where these pistons gonna bring my cmpression down to? I have a VVTi with 10.5:1 compression....

are you planning on boosting if not those pistons will wreak havoc on your ecu esp being vvti that stock ecu is very touchy with changes and probably will not run right at all

if you are planning to boost then use them with new rods and tt headgasket and that should yield you around 8:6:1

I'm planning on boosting. But, could elaborate on why it would screw with my ecu? Also, i dont' want my comp. to go below 9, i want to keep it very close to 9:1. I plan on running the gt35r, meth kit, safc for now till i get the aem FI/C and pushing maybe 550-600 whp. The car is primarily a street daily, it will be taken to road race every one and a while...
