use a multimeter and check connections for power at all ends, you could also check the ohms I believe to find a break in a wire somewhere.

**solved** stupid alternator 120A fuseable link. (Dealer 18 bucks) and Viper alarm system safe mode. The Unicorn is running through the streets.Yippie!!!!!!(Now just dealin with snow) arrr lol
