Default Major Oil Leaks please help me!

I have a 1995 lexus sc400, its have about 156k miles on it. There are a few leak that i found out from a mechanic. Here the list of the list.

Tansmission oil pan gasket leak
Engine oil pan gasket leak.

After changing out my spark plug myself i found oil on my spark plug.
Can someone please tell what is gonna to happen to my car if if this don't get fix soon?

Also which leak should i take care of?

I would like to do all the work myself, is there any mechanic or experienced member who can explain step by step to change the engine oil pan gasket?

THere is no oil pan gasket. The oil pan is sealed with Toyota FPIG...As far as the oil in the spark plugs, your valve cover gaskets are leaking. You could do this job by yourself however from what I have read, be ready for a lengthy job. I know the write up is out there, I just can't remember where. If you search, you will find a bunch of info on the SC300s but I think lextreme.com may have the writeup. If you don't get this fixed, your car isn't going to die tomorrow but as with any leak, the leak will get worse and worse.

maybe he is talking about the upper oil pan..I don't know if that one has a gasket but I know the bottom one does not use a rubber gasket...it's a sealant. It could still be leaking and needing new sealant. If it is the upper pan...major money. The lower pan will cost you minimal. YOu should do the lower pan yourself

You should fix all leaks. What part of California do you live in? That parking garage looks very familiar.

Do the easy ones first...oil pan and tranny pan. Then worry about your valve cover gakets. Just use 5-W30 oil. That is what the car calls for. You could go expensive( about $6.50 or more a qt.) and get mobil 1 or royal purple(both full synthetic) or get the regular pennzoil etc. 5-W30
