Santa brought a present for my SC a little early. (Headers)
Santa, or "ScottURnot" a-clause had a present delivered to my house the other day.
I'm not digging the chrome look, so they're be stripped and coated with the 2000 Degree Ceramic satin black coating that I offer. Can't wait to see how they turn out, and how they sound on the SC. They're the S&S headers.

Good luck getting those suckers on!
I just got done installing mine last weekend, make sure you have a breaker bar, a couple of 6 inch extensions, a swivel head and some BRAND new 14MM sockets.
The nuts are such a pain to get off in some places and rounding one out is a pain in the ***. I found out that removing the nuts under the engine that go to the motor mounts gave me access to pretty much all the top bolts from above, and underneath was easier. I have a thread, called airbags and headers. You should take a glance.
I can be going much higher speed and be at pretty good lower RPMs. It really opens up the top end.

I finally got around to putting these on about a month ago after having them set in a closet for 2 years. We pieced together a full exhaust system so we wouldn't have to deal with the fitment issues. These headers with hi-flow cats and full dual exhaust are amazing. Power across the board. And it's barely louder than stock. You won't regret it if you do it this way.

Nice! The driver side is harder, but it can be done. You'll love the SC400 more when it's at the red line. The expectation would be at least 10 rwhp. The gain will be more with high flow cats and mufflers. You may also go with the SAFC-II and have it tuned to get 20 rwhp for the complete setup.

Oh no! That'll sound like a bomb. I had forgotten to put on the headers 1 time and when I cranked the car, it startled me and kicked my butt.

This car will not be a daily driver, it will be dedicated track car/weekend warrior. I should be able to live with the open headers sound.
Not sure if I'm going to do the electric cutouts or the cheap ones.

I think one of the moderators added the "headers" part to the thread title when they moved my thread.
