Default 1JZ swap question.

Hello CL,

Need a bit of help with the 1JZ guys. I have a 92 SC300 original 5spd with a Soarer 1JZGTE w/ 5Spd R154 What did you guys do for the steering rack plug. I don't remember seeing a plug on the Soarer Harness. Right now nothing is plug up to my steering rack.

there's a plug on the other side of the engine that plugs in to the existing sc300 steering rack. You have to lengthen it and plug it in.

There is one plug that is left unplugged, however.

I see a small greyish plug is that the one that needs to be lengthen. And the other plug that is left unplug, is it the bigger one on the steering rack.

Any problems leaving that unplugged.

Thanks for your help.

I had to lengthen a small gray plug with two wires that went to the steering rack. There is a bigger black one by the alternator that is unplugged though on mine. No problems with that one. I don't even know where it goes to.
